Pediatric Dental Assistant
I attended West Linn schools from 1-11 grade and finished my diploma up at CCC. I had taken night classes my sophomore and junior year so I could finish high school early. Not long after high school I had a beautiful daughter who is now a sophomore in high school. I married a wonderful man who is a pilot for Dulcich Jets and I have been working for a pediatric dentist for over 10 years in Portland.
Lots of my friends were older than I was so I just wanted to graduate early.

Comment: I married my wonderful wife, Brandy on Cinco de Mayo in 2001. I have a stepson, Zac, who is 9. In June of 2002 we welcomed Joey to the family, and recently added another child, our lab puppy Morgan - We purchased a home in Gresham in 2003, and I hope to be back to WL soon! I am very active in my boys' activities, both school and sports, and continue to be a rabid duck fan in all aspects!
My favorite times in school were in sports and band. The trips we took to Canada were a blast, and I will never forget my first car, a bright orange Camaro that lit up the lot in all its glory!
Anything else to share: It would be great to hear from anyone, as I missed the reunion, but look forward to the 20th.

Favorite Memory: Fondest memory is of Jammin Quinn on Halloween driving his white Toyota truck in Lake Oswego, and smashing into every parked vehicle in the entire town, with one hand on the steering wheel, and the other throwing eggs at people from the driver's side window.

Management
I received my BS in mechanical engineering in'95 and took a job with Precision Castparts in Portland. I met my wife, Jenny, shortly after returning and we were married in August of '98. In 2001, after a couple of job changes, we quit our jobs and moved to the New York Capitol District for grad school. I received my MBA in 2003 and am currently working in a management position at Target's distribution center just outside of Saratoga Springs, NY. Jenny gave birth to beautiful twin girls, Ainsley and Kendall, last October and life has become extremely busy and very rewarding.

Favorite Memory: I have a ton of great memories from high school and they all center around the fantastic friendships that I developed while there.

(LeVee) Oace |
Homemaker, home school mom, and RN
Well, after high school, I attended OSU for 3 years where I met my (then) future husband. I then transferred to PSU where I graduated with a BS in Psych. Medicine was always my goal in childhood/adolescence....so after PSU, I went to Nursing school and became and RN. During the last year of nursing school, I married Cory Oace and have been happily married since 1996. We have 4 children, 2 boys, 0 and 2, and 2 girls: 7 and 5. I have worked in Long-Term Care and in Public Health, but have mainly specialized in Pediatric Home Health. Currently, I am extremely busy as a home school mom and work weekend rotations to alleviate call for the nurse manager in an assisted Living Facility. I guess that pretty much sums up my current life. Other than spending time with my kids/family, which I obviously do a lot of, my favorite thing to do is work in the yard and namely, mowing our field with the John Deere, what peace!
Favorite Memory: Wow, there are so many different kinds of memories to choose from. I definitely cherish the memories that my friends Minday, Melissa, and I shared in the earlier years. Partying senior year was pretty fun, and chaotic, too. Yikes, I haven't thought about those memories in awhile!!
Life is short and who you were in high school, or who people thought you were doesn't matter!!!!

I have two boys, Hunter (8) and Jack (4). I recently moved into a new home in Tigard. I've worked with Centex homes for 8 years. I still keep in touch with lots of WLHS friends. Every year we get together to take one of Russ McLean's dance classes. We're all very proud of him and his partner's new baby!
Getting suspended, kicked off the team...there are too many to list. I have especially fond memories of George Crace. Also, it worked out great having my mom work at the school so she could forge my grades to graduate! Thanks, Sue!
I strongly recommend you visit your local K-Mart to view Phil Lyman's spring fashion line. He specializes in women's Plus Sizes. Big and Beautiful has always been Phil's motto!

Business Owner - Social Worker, Financial Advisor, Computer Technician
I currently own my own house in 1998 and my own successful business since 1991 in Tacoma, WA. I moved here to go to Pacific Lutheran University (PLU). After 2.5 years of taking classes at PLU for a BA in Business, then I switched and graduated with a BS in Social Work, and still need 2 classes for a minor and 4 for the BA in Business. I helped raise 3 developmentally disabled children (11 y.o. girl with ADD, 12 y.o. boy with ADD and ODD, 14 y.o. boy with Autism and ADD), and after a year took custody of the middle child, after their mother unexpectedly died in 1995 (5 days after the middle child's birthday). I found out I was diagnosed with having ADHD (which explains some of my actions and behaviors in school) in 1998 and have since been a strong advocate and started a support group for adults and children with disabilities, in which some now consider me to be an expert in. I worked for the state for almost 6 years (October 1997 to August 2003) as a social worker splitting the time between the welfare office (1997 to 2000) and Child Protective Services (2000 to 2003) while still operating my own business part time. Since 2003, I have dedicated my time to my business. I am still single and am looking for the right person to be my wife. I have been trying to get back in touch with all my friends and acquaintances from all the schools I have attended with some success, which I hope this will help.
Can't think of a favorite memory at the moment, other than no longer going there, setting off people's car alarms half-way down the parking lot when I would start my '81 Dodge Charger, or street racing a lower classmen. My favorite teachers were Bart Valentine (Freshman and Senior years) and Mrs. Kilpatrick, with Craig Meyers coming close behind.
I would like to communicate either via e-mail, phone, or in person with everyone to talk about "old times" or to get updated since then with current stuff. I missed the reunion and hope to come to the next official one, but I think we should have unofficial reunions more often in between the official ones. I have kept in touch a little bit with Mr./Coach (Bart) Valentine and during our last discussion we both agreed that faculty/teachers should be notified and allowed to come to the reunions, so whoever is in charge of reunion planning should look into it.
